Committee for Faculty Scholarship and Development

Purpose

The goal of the Committee for Faculty Scholarship and Development (CFS&D) is to encourage faculty scholarship (e.g. research, creative activity), professional development, and training. The Committee performs several functions. Each semester, it awards Major Grant requests for up to $4,000 and Mini Grant requests for under $1500. The Committee also awards faculty reassigned time. Please see below for more information.

Travel reimbursements must be accompanied by a travel report, which you can find on this page:

http://www.ric.edu/accounting/Pages/tforms.aspx

He will forward your request for reimbursement to Mary West in Grants Accounting. Accounting requires originals to process payment. Department Chair signature is not required, but you must include this letter with your request. Your reimbursement request will be reviewed by both Accounting and Grants Accounting.
