Academic Affairs

The Academic Affairs Division of the College is responsible for all of the activities and personnel central to the teaching and scholarly missions of Rhode Island College. The full-time and part-time faculty and professional staff are organized into five schools: The Faculty of Arts and Sciences, the Feinstein School of Education and Human Development, the School of Management, the School of Nursing, and the School of Social Work; these units are complimented by the additional organizational units of the Center for Public Policy, and the Office of Continuing Education and Summer Sessions. Each year, almost 9,000 students are served in their pursuit of bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees as well as a large number of additional students who pursue short-term certificates and continuing education programs.
