Adams Library exhibit honors J.D. Salinger
Author J.D. Salinger passed away in January, 2010 at the age of 91. His literary reputation rests chiefly upon his short novel “The Catcher in the Rye”, three books of collected short fiction, and 21 uncollected magazine stories, yet he remains one of the most praised, criticized, controversial and enigmatic American authors. An exhibit about the literary work of Salinger will be on display in the James P. Adams Library lobby through August 31st. See the LibGuide for more information.

Baseball at RIC
Whether it’s the statistics, historic ballparks, or just the love of the game, baseball has something to offer everyone. As New York Times writer Joel Oppenheimer once said, baseball “makes it easy for the generations to talk to one another.” You can start your conversation at the “Baseball at RIC” exhibit, located outside Special Collections on the 4th floor of the Library.
