Electronic Reserves Guidelines
-
Only single sided articles can be converted into electronic
format.
-
Articles must be less than 30 pages in length.
-
Articles must be free of dark shaded areas, graphs, or illustrations.
-
A 10-day turnaround time is required when submitting articles
to be converted into electronic format.
-
Processing for electronic reserves must be requested at the time of
initial creation of a new course reserve list at the Reserve Desk.
-
A hard copy of each electronically formatted reserve item will be
available at the Reserve Desk. These hard copies will be available
in the event that electronic reserve items are not accessible via the
Internet.
-
Faculty please note that patrons requesting access to electronic
reserves must be registered at the Circulation Desk and inputted into
the library's patron database. Additionally, a registered library
patron must be in good standing in order to access electronic reserves.
-
Access and availability to an electronic reserve will extend to both
on campus and off campus sites. Adobe
Acrobat Reader 4.0 or greater must be loaded onto the computer's
hard drive and the printer must have a minimum of 2MB of memory.
