How to Use the U.S. Census

Rhode Island QuickFacts from the US Census

Go to the U.S. Census American FactFinder Advanced Geography page
Select STATE LEGISLATIVE DISTRICT - UPPER CHAMBER or
STATE LEGISLATIVE DISTRICT - LOWER CHAMBER
from the drop down menu labeled Search For (last drop down).
Select RHODE ISLAND from the "State" menu on the same page.
Select a District number from the list presented and click OK.
You will have a choice of various demographic tables or a map at the bottom of the page.

or if you know an address in a district you can search by the address

Go to the U.S. Census American FactFinder Advanced Geography page
Select ADDRESS on from the section labeled Choose a selection method
Enter an address in the district and click on Go
Select STATE LEGISLATIVE DISTRICT - UPPER CHAMBER or
STATE LEGISLATIVE DISTRICT - LOWER CHAMBER
from the list menu under the bulleted item labeled Geographies Containing... and click on Go.
You will have a choice of various demographic tables or a map at the bottom of the page.
