An exhibit in Adams Library showcases May Day and the workers' movement in both the present day and in American history. Items in the exhibit were loaned by Scott Molloy, Professor of Labor and Industrial Relations at the University of Rhode Island, and Ralph Fortune, RIC alumnus and retired Providence school teacher. Books from the Adams Library collection are also featured. The exhibit will be available through May 30th. See the LibGuide for more information.
Research Fluency, along with Written Communication and Critical Thinking, are fundamental components of our students' academic work: "outcomes" of the new General Education program. The slides that helped guide the FCTL Co-Op Workshops on Research Fluency on April 3rd and 5th, 2012 are offered here to help stimulate more extended discussion on how to address this critical idea in courses across the curriculum.
