The National Technical Information Service is the U.S. Government's central source for the distribution of scientific, technical, engineering, and related business information. This information is produced by or for the U.S. Government and complementary material from international sources. Nearly 3 million products are available from NTIS in a variety of formats, including microfiche, paper, diskette, audiovisual, CD-ROM, and online.

North American Industry Classification System (NAICS)

NAICS coding provides an updated view of business activity in North America, based on types of production activities performed. Information about NAICS codes, a service of the US Census Bureau, as well as a list of the 1997 codes and their relation to the older Standard Industrial Classification [SIC] codes, is included at this site.
