SciFinder Scholar
SciFinder allows individuals to search for scholarly articles on chemistry. It uniquely allows users to search based on chemical formula as well as chemical reaction. It allows users to draw chemical structures or reactions and search on these drawings. Users can also search based on patent and substance identifier. Furthermore, the database provides a list suppliers of chemical substances.
Use of this resources is limited to students staff and faculty of Rhode Island College. Students may access this by checking a laptop out of Reserves in the library or by using computers in the Chemistry Department.
