Microfilm and Microfiche Copying (Printing) and E-mail
- How do I e-mail a microform? There are computers
attached to the microform reader/scanners that will scan a
microfilm or microfiche so that you can e-mail it
to yourself as an Adobe Acrobat PDF document. This service
is free.
- What does it cost? 10 cents per page for printing and
no cost for e-mailing articles.
- How to pay? You pay with a photocopy card or an activated student
ID. The photocopy card can be purchased for $1.00 from the vending
machine near the microform readers. (The card will have a value of $1.00 to which you can add more money.) Your student ID card can
be activated at the Campus
Card Office in the Student Union. Both these cards will
also work for photocopying and printing in the library.
- Where are the microfilm reader machines? There are three microform reader workstations on the 3rd floor.
- Questions? Ask a reference librarian.
