The Rhode Island Adult Education Professional Development Center (RI PDC) is a collaborative effort between the following:

Funding has come from the Rhode Island Foundation, Lifespan, United Way and the Rhode Island Department of Education (utilizing WIA Title II Leadership funds, and the Governor's Workforce Board's RI Job Development Funds).

The dual purpose of the center is to positively impact learner outcomes through increasing the knowledge and skills of adult education practitioners and providers, and to also develop a system to recruit, train, develop, and support the next generation of adult education professionals.
