Background

Jill is the Director of the RI Adult Education Professional Development Center, a new initiative that supports the Adult Ed/ Workforce Development community of RI. She was previously at Year Up for 3 + years, an educational and training opportunity for urban young adults. Jill had previously worked in public schools, K-12, urban and rural, for 16 years, the last eight of these in Providence. She was an Internship Coordinator, Guidance Counselor and a Director of a small school. She has served on the Advisory Board for the Network School, the Steering Committee for RIDE's High School Graduation by Proficiency Committee, and as a member of the Providence Public School Board. Jill completed the coursework in the Educational Leadership Doctoral Program at Johnson & Wales University, earned a Master's of Education degree from Keene State College and B.A. from Portland State University in Oregon.
