THE RICOCHET FUND
The Rhode Island College Alumni Association is also proud to support an emergency Financial Assistance fund, the RICochet fund.
The Rhode Island College Alumni Association established the RICochet fund in December of 1994 to assist students with financial emergencies so that they may remain in school. Grants of up to $1000 are made to cover such emergencies as educational expenses (tuition, books, educational supplies), health, housing, child care, etc. Any matriculated student may apply (graduate, undergraduate, part-time, full-time).
The grants do not require repayment. However, students who apply for assistance from the RICochet Fund are expected to donate five hours of volunteer service to the Alumni Association for each $100 requested and approved.
Applications are made on a "rolling" basis and decisions are typically made 7-10 days after the application is submitted
Please contact the Alumni Office at 401-456-8086 for application and further information.
