Light the Flame

A new Rhode Island College event for freshmen. This event is part of the college's new first-year experience.

Rhode Island College is starting a new tradition for Rhode Island College students arriving on campus for their first semester. It will be an event to remember and will consolidate many of the traditions which are seen as part of the Rhode Island College graduation ceremony. The class of 2016 will be the first to experience this annual event. We encourage you to attend and ask that you please arrive early and help us light the flame for a new academic year.
