In 56 matches, Paquette compiled an individual record of 33-23 (.589) and 132 points, including 97 takedowns, 23 reversals, 14 near-falls and five pins.

In his senior campaign in 2004-05, he solidified the middle of the lineup with a 21-13 record at 157 lbs. Paquette recorded a career-high in points (79), takedowns (69), and reversals (14). The 2004-05 All-New England grappler placed sixth at the New England College Conference Wrestling Association (NECCWA) Championships.

For his efforts in the classroom, Paquette was named to the 2004-05 NCAA Division III Wrestling Coaches Association Scholar All-American squad. He earned a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems from Rhode Island College in 2006.

Prior to joining Rhode Island College, Paquette grappled two seasons at Johnson & Wales, registering an individual record of 31-31.
