Denis Chartier begins his second season as the head women's
lacrosse coach at Rhode Island College. Chartier is the third coach in
the program's seven-year history.

2007 season, Chartier's team posted a 3-11 overall record and a 1-5
(sixth place) mark in the Little East Conference.

single-season, adding four to the previous standard. Chartier also set
the single-season record for most consecutive victories, registering
nine straight wins between Sept. 9 and Oct. 4, 2006. The Anchorwomen
earned their first berth into the Eastern College Athletic Conference
New England Division III Tournament.
“Coaching both programs gives me a great opportunity to
mentor my student-athletes,” said Chartier.
