LANCERS DOWN ANCHORMEN 12-10
Providence, RI—Worcester State College improved to 7-2 overall with a 12-10 win over Rhode Island College in collegiate baseball action. The loss drops RIC to 9-6-1 on the season.
Bear Dunn went 3-5 with one run, two RBI and two doubles for the Lancers. Bobby Montalto went 2-6 with three runs, two RBI and two doubles. Chris Fuller (1-0) earned his first win of the season in a relief effort.
Glenn Dusablon was a bright spot for RIC, hitting a grand slam in the fourth inning. Starting pitcher Brian Baker took the loss in a relief effort, falling to 0-1.
In upcoming action, RIC will host Keene State College on Saturday afternoon for a doubleheader beginning at noon.
