Rhode Island College Men’s Tennis Update #1

Providence, RI--Head Coach Kelly Lange’s Anchormen are 1-3 overall and have yet to see action in the Little East Conference. RIC opened the season with a 9-0 loss to Division I URI on Mar. 21. The Anchormen fell to Division II Bryant 9-0 on Mar. 24. The Anchormen earned their first win of the ’03 campaign with a 5-4 victory at Endicott on Mar. 25. RIC dropped a match 7-2 at Salem State on Mar. 27 to round out the week.

Sophomore co-captain Tim Smith (Jamestown, RI) is 2-1 (.667) in singles and 0-1 (.000) in doubles for 2.0 points on the season.

Sophomore Dan Amaral (Warren, RI) is 0-3 (.000) in singles and 0-3 (.000) in doubles for 0.0 points on the season.

Sophomore Adam Pierpaoli (Smithfield, RI) is 1-3 (.250) in singles and 0-4 (.000) in doubles for 1.0 points on the season.
