Dusablon Helps RIC Power Past
Purple Knights

Providence, RI—Sophomore
outfielder Glenn Dusablon knocked in seven runs to lead Rhode
Island College to a doubleheader sweep of St. Michael’s College in
non-conference collegiate baseball action. RIC took the first game,
6-2, and the second game, 11-1. |

Dusablon was 3-6 on the day, going
2-3 in the opener with a triple, three RBI and a run scored. In the
second game Dusablon was 1-3 with four RBI including a three-run
homerun in the fifth inning. Sophomore outfielder Matt Brannon
went 2-4 with a homerun and three RBI in the second game of the
doubleheader. Brannon also picked up the win in game one, yielding one
run and striking out nine on the way to his third victory of the
season. |

Sophomore pitcher Jim Milano
recorded the victory in game two, pitching six innings and giving up
just one run. The win helped Milano pick up his third win on the
season and helped the Anchormen improve to 12-8-1 on the season. The
loss dropped the Purple Knights to 5-2 on the year. |
