Puleo Named Little East Conference
|
|
|
|
Providence, RI—Rhode Island College senior Chris Puleo (Barrington, RI) was named the Little East Conference Male Track Athlete of the Week. |
|
|
|
He placed first in the 400 meters with a school-record time of 49.50 at the Bridgewater State Invitational on Apr. 12. Puleo was also a member of RIC’s 4 x 400 relay team, which established a new school record with a time of 3:25.35. He placed fifth in the 200 meters with a time of 22.88. |
|
|
|
He is a criminal justice major and a 1998 graduate of Barrington High School. |
|
|
|
In upcoming action, RIC will compete at the Bernard Solomon Husky Invitational on Saturday, Apr. 19. |
