LADY BISON DOWN ANCHORWOMEN, 10-8
Providence, RI—Carolyn Quinn and Daniela D’Alelio each scored three goals to pace Nichols College past Rhode Island College, 10-8, in collegiate women’s lacrosse action. D’Alelio also added three assists for a six-point afternoon as the Lady Bison improve to 3-5 on the season.
Amy Bertrand and Allison Gottfried each scored two goals to round out NC’s offensive output. Goalie Amanda Drumm made seven saves.
Amanda Hutchins and Danielle Beaudry tallied three goals apiece in a losing effort for RIC. Goalie Crystal Colagiovanni made 15 stops as the Anchorwomen fell to 3-7.
In upcoming action, RIC will host Eastern Connecticut on Wednesday, Apr. 23 at 4 p.m.
