Rhode Island College Men’s Tennis Update #5

(2-10 Overall; 0-2 in the Little East Conference)

Providence, RI--Head Coach Kelly Lange’s Anchormen are 2-10 overall and 0-2 in the Little East Conference. RIC was 1-1 last week, downing Newbury, 9-0, on Apr. 22 before falling to Clark, 7-0, on Apr. 24.

Junior co-captain Julio Andrade (Cranston, RI) is 6-5 (.545) in singles and 2-6 (.250) in doubles for 7.0 points on the season.

Sophomore co-captain Tim Smith (Jamestown, RI) is 2-4 (.333) in singles and 0-3 (.000) in doubles for 2.0 points on the season.

Sophomore Adam Pierpaoli (Smithfield, RI) is 2-10 (.167) in singles and 1-8 (.111) in doubles for 2.5 points on the season.

Junior Marc Pasonelli (Cranston, RI) is 1-7 (.125) in singles and 1-4 (.200) in doubles for 1.5 points on the season.

Freshman Jason LaDuke (Warren, RI) is 1-3 (.250) in singles and 1-8 (.111) in doubles for 1.5 points on the season.

Sophomore Andre LaBonte (Harrisville, RI) is 2-7 (.222) in singles and 1-5 (.167) in doubles for 2.5 points on the season.

Junior Ben Powell (Elk River, MN) is 1-6 (.143) in singles and 0-4 (.000) in doubles for 1.0 points on the season.

Sophomore Dan Amaral (Warren, RI) is 0-6 (.000) in singles and 0-8 (.000) in doubles for 0.0 points on the season.

Junior Sean McClelland (Pawtucket, RI) is 0-1 (.000) in singles and 1-10 (.091) in doubles for 0.5 points on the season.

In upcoming action, RIC will play at UMass-Boston on Apr. 30 and host the LEC Championships on May 2-3.
