Providence, RI—Greg Bennett’s goal on a penalty kick in the 13th minute gave Worcester State a 1-0 victory over Rhode Island College in collegiate men’s soccer action. The loss stops an eight-game winning streak for RIC.
Nick Robinson made four saves to record the shutout.
RIC falls to 8-3, while the win lifts Worcester State to 4-5-1 on the season.
In upcoming action, RIC will play at UMass-Boston on Saturday, Oct. 5 at 1 p.m.
