Providence, RI—Western Connecticut State University improved to 10-8 overall and remained a perfect 4-0 in the Little East Conference with a 3-1 victory over Rhode Island College in collegiate women’s volleyball action. |

WCSU’s Lindsey Gloster had 14 kills and Lindsay Rick had 30 assists in the win. Kristen Bruno had four blocks. |

RIC’s Amanda Yanski had 14 kills and Mia Shaffer had 25 assists in a losing effort. |

In upcoming action, RIC will host its annual invitational on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 4-5. |
