Providence, RI—Ashlee Vose scored 13 points and grabbed ten rebounds to lead Roger Williams University to a 73-66 win over in-state rival Rhode Island College. Although RIC held a two-point lead at the intermission, the Hawks outscored the Anchorwomen 41-32 in the second half to earn the victory. |

RWU’s Emily Whitson scored 17 points and grabbed eight rebounds and Kristin Gaynor had ten points and five boards. The Hawks improve to 2-2 on the season. |

RIC’s Angela Sarette led all scorers with 21 points and added five rebounds in a losing effort. RIC drops its fourth straight game and falls to 1-5 on the year. |
