Island College posted a convincing 37-7 win over Gettysburg College
in collegiate wrestling action. The Anchormen picked up three wins
by forfeit from Mike Riley, Eddy German, and Andrew
Algarin. RIC captured victories in five of the remaining seven
flights, highlighted by Justin Deveau who pinned Chris
Coogan at 6:47. |

The win helps the Anchormen improve to
4-4, while the loss drops Gettysburg to 3-7. |

In upcoming action, RIC will take part in
a quad-match with NYU and Oneonta at Wilkes on Sunday, Jan. 12
beginning at noon. |
