Providence, RI—Western Connecticut State University won a hard-fought 90-75 victory over Rhode Island College in collegiate men’s basketball action. The loss ends RIC’s eight-game home winning streak. |

Jason Barnett led WCSU with 12 points and 13 rebounds. Jay Reginatto had 17 points and seven assists, while Damon Davis notched 11 key points in seven minutes off the bench. |

The Anchormen had five players score in double figures, led by Andre Daley with 16 points and six rebounds. J.O. White added 11 points and ten rebounds for his sixth double-double of the season. |

The Colonials improve to 9-5 overall and 5-1 in the Little East Conference. RIC falls to 10-5 overall and 3-3 in the LEC. |
