Providence, RI—Rhode Island College held off a furious second-half rally by the University of Southern Maine to earn a 92-85 victory at the Murray Center. Despite scoring 63 points in the final frame, USM falls to 2-20 overall and 1-11 in the Little East Conference. RIC improves to 13-10 overall and 5-7 in the LEC. |

J.O. White led five RIC players in double figures, scoring 21 points and grabbing 13 rebounds. White made 12 of 14 free throws on his way to his ninth double-double of the season. Lester Carter chipped in with 19 points and ten boards. Jason Harris (12), Brian Stanko (11) and Kamran Alemdar (11) also reached double figures in scoring. |
