Manny Karngar Named
LEC Track Athlete of the Week

 

Providence, RI—Rhode Island College freshman Emmanuel Karngar (Providence, RI) has been named the Little East Conference’s Track Athlete of the Week. It is the second time this season Karngar has earned this honor.

 

Karngar breezed to a school record 1:53.96 to capture the 800 meters at the New England Div. III Championships, hosted by MIT, on Saturday, Feb. 22.

 

In upcoming action, Karngar will compete at the ECAC Div. III Championships, hosted by Tufts University, on Mar. 7-8.
