Andrade and Smith to Captain Rhode Island College Men’s Tennis

Providence, RI—Rhode Island College junior Julio Andrade (Cranston, RI) and sophomore Tim Smith (Jamestown, RI) will captain the men’s tennis team for the 2003 season.

As a sophomore in 2002, Andrade competed at both number one singles and number one doubles.

He is an elementary education major and a 1999 graduate of Cranston High School East.

As a freshman in 2002, Smith competed at number six singles and number three doubles.

He is a physical education/health major and a 2001 graduate of North Kingstown High School.

Head Coach Kelly Lange’s team opens the 2003 season at home against URI on Friday, Mar. 21.
