Rhode Island College Gymnastics Update

Providence, RI--Head
Coach Bob Nannig’s team concluded its regular season with a 3-8
overall record and a 3-4 mark against ECAC Div. III competition. The
Anchorwomen saw action at the ECAC Div. III Championships hosted by
Ithaca College on Saturday, March 20. RIC placed sixth with a team
score of 177.850, their highest score of the season. Brockport won the
event with a team score of 188.125. |

Caren Normandin (Fall
River, MA)
qualified for the National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA)
Championships as a floor and beam specialist from the East Region.
This is the third consecutive NCGA qualification for Normandin. She
led the team in every event at the ECAC Championships, posting scores
of 9.250 on vault, 8.925 on bars, 9.475 on beam, 9.425 on floor and
37.075 on all-around. |
