RIC Softball Selected to Play in
ECAC Div. III Championships

Providence, RI—The Rhode Island College softball team has been selected to play in the eight-team ECAC Div. III Championships for the fourth time in the past six seasons. RIC is the sixth seed and will play at third-seeded Coast Guard on Wednesday, May 5.

The Anchorwomen went 21-14-1 on the season and placed second in the Little East Conference with a 9-5 record. 2004 also marked the sixth consecutive season that RIC has posted 20 or more wins.
