Three Earn All-Little East Honors
in Women's Lacrosse for
Rhode Island College
|

|
Providence, RI—Three
members of the Rhode Island College women's lacrosse team were
selected to the 2004 Little East All-Conference team. |
|
|
|
Freshman
center Caitlin Gavin (Portsmouth,
RI)
was named First Team All-Little East Conference. Gavin played 15
games, starting all of them. She had 43 goals and 10 assists for 53
points. Gavin also compiled a team-high 98 shots, 76 on goal, 82
ground balls and 74 draw controls. Gavin was named the Little East
Conference's Rookie of the Week three times during the season. |

Sophomore
defender Crystal Colagiovanni (Johnston,
RI)
was named
Second Team All-Little East Conference. Colagiovanni played 15 games,
starting all of them. She had 32 goals and two assists for 34 points.
Colagiovanni compiled 75 shots, 63 on goal, 59 ground balls and 12
draw controls. |

Junior
attacker Danielle Beaudry (West
Greenwich, RI)
was named Second Team All-Little East Conference. Beaudry played 15
games, starting 14 of them. She had 23 goals and a team-high 15
assists for 38 points. Beaudry compiled 46 shots, 40 on goal, 50
ground balls and 11 draw controls. |

Head Coach
Ryan Angel’s team concluded its season with a 7-8 overall
record and a 0-6 mark in Little East Conference action. The squad's
seven wins were the highest total in the program's four-year history. |
