OWLS DOMINATE ANCHORMEN IN, 78-67, WIN

            Providence, RI—The Keene State University Owls remained undefeated in Little East Conference play as they defeated the Rhode Island College Anchormen, 78-67, in collegiate basketball action on Saturday, Jan. 17.

14 players scored at least one point in the win for KSC, which led by over 20 points for most of the second half. The Owls were led by senior guard Alphonse Michalski (Northampton, MA) with 15 points. Sophomore forward Sean Sullivan (Athol, MA) chipped in with 12 points.

Leading the way for the Anchormen was freshman center Anthony Pierlioni (Plainville, CT) with ten points and six rebounds.

Keene State improves to 12-2 overall and 5-0 in the Little East Conference. RIC fall to 5-9 overall and 2-2 in the LEC.

In upcoming action, RIC will play at UMass-Dartmouth on Tuesday, Jan. 20 at 7:30 p.m. Keene State will play at Plymouth State on Tuesday, Jan. 20 at 7:30 p.m. as well.
