Providence, RI—Rhode Island College took a one-point halftime
lead and pulled away from UMass-Dartmouth in the second half to gain a
75-61 victory. With the win, the Anchormen improve to 10-12 overall
and 6-5 in the Little East Conference as the Corsairs fall to 11-11
overall and 4-7 in the LEC. |

RIC senior
guard Kamran Alemdar (Stockholm,
Sweden)
led the Anchormen as he scored a season-high 25 points with seven
boards, four assists and three steals. Freshman guard Kinsey Durgin
(Greenwood,
ME)
had 15 points, four rebounds, four assists and five steals, the most
takeaways in a game by an Anchorman this winter. Sophomore forward
Brian Stanko (Swansea,
MA)
had 13
points and seven boards, while freshman center Kevin Zalucki (Enfield,
CT)
had nine points and eight boards. |

had 17 points and 11 boards in a losing effort. |
