Rhode
Island College’s
Kamran Alemdar Earns Second-Team
All-Little East Conference Honors |

Providence,
RI—Rhode
Island College senior guard Kamran Alemdar (Stockholm,
Sweden)
was named Second-Team All-Little East Conference for his performance
in men's basketball this winter. |

|
This
season, Alemdar played in 26 games, starting 25 of them. He averaged a
team-high 14.3 points, while also contributing 3.8 rebounds and 1.7
assists per game. In 14 conference games this winter, Alemdar averaged
a team-high 15.3 points, while also averaging 3.8 rebounds and 1.8
assists per contest. On the season, he scored in double-figures in 20
of the team’s 26 games, including seven 20-plus point performances. |

He is a
communications major and a 1999 graduate of Vasalunds Gymnasiet. |

|
Head Coach
Michael Kelly’s team finished the season with an 11-15 overall
record and a 7-7 mark in the Little East Conference, which was good
for fifth place. The Anchormen were eliminated from the 2004 Little
East Conference Tournament with a, 98-94, loss at Western Connecticut
on Tuesday, Feb. 24. |
