In his
first season at the helm this year, Manning led the Anchorwomen to a
16-11 overall record and a 7-7 mark in conference play, which was good
for third place. The third-place finish in the LEC was the highest
such finish for RIC since 1997-98. The Anchorwomen earned the right to
host a first-round conference game, which had not occurred since the
1998-99 season. The team's 16 overall wins and seven conference
victories were the most since the 1998-99 squad won 17 overall games
and eight conference contests. Also, the 16 wins this season are one
more than the amount of wins that RIC has compiled in the past three
years combined. |
