Providence, RI--Head
Coach Joe Testa’s team is 3-7 overall and 1-2 in the Little
East Conference. RIC went 1-2 last week. The Anchormen shut out
Becker, 9-0, to open the week’s action on Thursday, Apr. 14. RIC then
lost back-to-back Little East contests, falling to Southern Maine,
6-3, on Sudday, Apr. 17 and to Western Connecticut, 5-4, on Apr. 17. |

Senior
co-captain Julio Andrade (Cranston, RI) is 8-2 (.800) at number
three singles and 4-6 (.400) at number one doubles for a team-high
10.0 points on the season. He went 3-0 at number three singles and 2-1
at number one doubles last week. Andrade was undefeated last week in
LEC singles action. |

Junior Barry Manfredi (Westerly, RI) is 6-4 (.600) at number
one singles and 4-6 (.400) at number one doubles for 8.0 points on the
season. Manfredi went 2-1 at both number one singles and doubles last
week. |

is 2-7 (.222) at number two singles and 3-7 (.300) at number two
doubles for 3.5 points on the season. |
