Men’s Cross Country Update #7

Providence, RI--Head
Coach Kevin Jackson’s team has eight invitationals under their
belt this season. |
|
|
|
• The Anchormen competed at the 2005 Eastern College Athletic
Conference (ECAC) Championships, hosted by Connecticut College on
Saturday, Nov. 5. RIC placed 18th (38 teams) with a score
of 487. Williams captured the meet title with a score of 46. |
|
• Junior Eric Lonergan (North
Kingstown, RI)
earned All-ECAC honors, placing eighth overall with a time of 26:13.
He was the highest placing runner from the Little East Conference.
There were 265 runners at the meet. |
|
• Senior Manny Karngar (Providence,
RI)
was 21st overall with a time of 26:25. Senior Tim
Goodwin (Warwick,
RI)
was 108th with a time of 27:56. Sophomore Greg Ahnrud (Chepachet,
RI)
was 172nd with a time of 29:22. Sophomore Greg Clark (Pawtucket,
RI)
was 197th with a time of 30:26 to round out the RIC
runners. |
