Joseph, Moroney & Scott Return From NCGA Championships

Providence, RI—Three members of the Rhode Island College women’s gymnastics team competed at the National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) Div. III National Championships on Mar. 24-25 at SUNY Brockport.

Junior Megan Joseph (Hope, RI) tied for 11^th place on beam with a score of 9.425 after the first day (Mar. 24) of competition. The top 14 on each event advanced to the second day of competition. Joseph posted a score of 8.475 (13^th) during day two of competition.

Freshman Breanna Moroney (Metuchen, NJ) competed as an all-around specialist. She posted scores of 9.050 on vault (43^rd tie), 8.075 on bars (44^th), 9.050 on beam (30^th tie), 9.000 on floor (46^th) and 35.175 in the all-around (22^nd).

Junior Hannah Scott (Deep River, CT) also competed as an all-around specialist. She posted scores of 8.500 on vault (55^th), 8.350 on bars (37^th tie), 8.300 on beam (51^st), 9.150 on floor (41^st tie) and 34.300 in the all-around (23^rd).
