WITH BEARS
11-Run Explosion in Game Two Costs RIC a Sweep

Providence,
RI—Rhode
Island College split a doubleheader with Bridgewater State College in

The
Anchorwomen plated nine runs and hammered out 12 hits through five
innings of the first contest. Junior pitcher Nicole Riley (North
Providence, RI) picked up her eighth win (8-2), allowing just two

her last five outings. Junior catcher Kristyn Alexander (East
Wareham, MA) led RIC offensively by going 2-for-3 with two,
two-RBI doubles. Senior right fielder Andree Sitnik (Lincoln, RI)
went 3-for-3 with two runs scored, while sophomore first baseman

and one RBI. Bridgewater State senior starting pitcher Katie Tauber

Anchorwomen. BSC freshman center fielder Allie LeBlanc (Somerset,
