Olson is the lone Anchorman with Multiple Hits

Providence, RI—Wheaton
College scored 13 runs over four innings en route to a 14-3 victory
over Rhode Island College in a non-conference matchup on Tuesday
afternoon. The Lyons pounded Anchormen pitching for 16 hits and used
seven different pitchers to record the victory. Wheaton improves to
28-6 overall, while the loss drops RIC back to the .500 mark at 16-16.

went 3-for-5 with four RBI. Senior shortstop
Rafael Castillo (Queens, NY),
senior third baseman
Andy Koocher (Portland, ME),
sophomore designated hitter

Mark Baumer (Durham, ME)
each had two hits in the game. Freshman reliever
Jared Barnes (North Attleboro, MA)
earned his third win (3-1) in the game. Twenty-Five different players
saw action for the Lyons.

suffered his third loss (3-3), allowing 12 hits and 11 earned runs in
four and one-third innings of work. Sophomore first baseman
Jim Connell (North Smithfield, RI)

homered for RIC in the loss. Sophomore third baseman
Pete Olson (North Providence, RI)
was the only Anchorman to record two hits.
