Dana Skorupa Named Little East Conference Women’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week

Providence, RI—Rhode Island College senior Dana Skorupa (Cumberland, RI) has been named the Little East Conference Women’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week for the second time this season.

Skorupa earned All-Alliance/Little East honors in the 100 meters, 200 meters and the long jump at the Little East/MASCAC Alliance Championships, hosted by UMass Dartmouth on Saturday, Apr. 29. Skorupa placed first in each event with times of 12.80 and 26.27, respectively, and a distance of 5.37 meters.

Skorupa and Head Coach Kevin Jackson’s team will compete at the New England Div. III Championships, hosted by Springfield College on Friday and Saturday, May 5-6.
