Rhode Island College Softball Ranked 18^th in the Nation

Providence, RI— The Rhode Island College softball team is ranked No. 18 in the latest edition of the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Div. III Top 25 Poll. The Anchorwomen move up three spots from last week’s poll.

The National Fastpitch Coaches Association Div. III Poll is voted on by eight NCAA Div. III head coaches representing the eight NCAA regions.

Rhode Island College is currently 14-2 on the season. Head Coach Maria Morin’s team swept a doubleheader from Bridgewater State (8-0, 3-1) on Tuesday, Apr. 3. In upcoming action, RIC will play at Curry College tomorrow afternoon and travel to Little East Conference Keene State on Saturday, Apr. 7.
