RIC GYMNASTICS FALLS AT SPRINGFIELD
Moroney & Demirjian Lead Anchorwomen |

Springfield, MA—The
Rhode Island College women’s gymnastics team fell at Springfield
College, 168.350-182.525, on Sunday afternoon. |
|
|
|
Sophomore
Breanna Moroney (Metuchen, NJ) posted the third-highest all-around
total with a score of 34.575. She posted scores of 8.925 on vault,
8.400 on bars, 8.150 on beam and 9.100 on floor. |

|
|
Junior Melissa
Demirjian (Warwick, RI) posted the fourth-highest all-around total
with a combined score of 34.225. She posted scores of 8.875 on vault,
8.500 on bars, 8.450 on beam and 8.400 on floor. |

|
|
Freshman Elizabeth Ann Glunt (Altoona, PA) posted the
fifth-highest all-around total with a score of 32.800. She registered
scores of 8.950 on vault, 7.300 on bars, 8.150 on beam and 8.400 on
floor. |

|
|
Senior Megan Joseph (Hope, RI) posted the fourth-highest vault
score on the day at 9.100. Demirjian owned the sixth-highest beam
score and tied for the sixth-highest mark on bars. Moroney tied for
the fifth-best mark on floor. |
|
|
|
RIC is currently 0-6 overall and 0-4 against ECAC Div. III
competition. Springfield improves to 4-1 overall. In upcoming action,
the Anchorwomen will host Brown University and the University of Rhode
Island on Sunday, Feb. 4. |
