Mike Martini Named Pilgrim Wrestling League Rookie of the Week |

Providence, RI—Rhode
Island College freshman Mike Martini (Cranston, RI) was named
the Pilgrim Wrestling League Rookie of the Week. |
|
|
|
Martini went 2-0 last week, increasing his current win streak to 16
matches. He is 28-7 with 39 takedowns, 14 reversals, 11 near-falls
and three pins. He is currently ranked fourth in New England at 157
lbs. |
|
|
|
In upcoming action, the Anchormen will compete at the New England
College Conference Wrestling Association (NECCWA) Championships,
hosted by Roger Williams, on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 17-18. |
