Mike Bonora Advances to NCAA
Wrestling Semifinal Round
Junior Garners All-American Honors |

Dubuque, IA—Rhode
Island College junior 141 lbs. Mike Bonora (Nutley, NJ) has
won his first two matches at the NCAA Div. III Wrestling
Championships, hosted by Loras College. |

|
Bonora received
a bye in the first round, then went on to defeat Zach McKray
from Wartburg, 5-0. He then defeated Myanganbayer Batsukh
from St. John’s, 8-6. |
|
|
|
He is slated to
take on the second-ranked wrestler in his weight class, Ricky
LaForge from Delaware Valley in the semifinals on Saturday, Mar.

|
The win over
Batsukh assures Bonora of All-American status, the first Rhode
Island College wrestler to earn this honor in 13 years. |
