Bob Walsh’s team is 26-3 on the season. Rhode Island College
lost both regular season meetings against Keene State, falling,
82-78, on Dec.2 at The Murray Center, then on the road, 92-81, on
Jan. 20. The Anchormen exacted their revenge in an 87-75 win over
the Owls in the Championship Game of the 2007 Little East Conference

It
was RIC’s first-ever Little East Conference Tournament title. The
Anchormen were the 2007 LEC Regular Season Champions for second time
in the past three seasons. RIC’s 26 wins are a new school record for
a single season. |

|
The Anchormen’s only other loss was to Amherst, ranked No. 1 in the
nation at the time, 62-48, at The Murray Center on Jan. 30. |
