WOMEN’S GYMNASTICS CONCLUDES SEASON
AT ECAC CHAMPIONSHIPS |

Providence, RI—The
Rhode Island College women’s gymnastics team wrapped up the 2006-07
season at the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC)
Championships, hosted by Ithaca on Saturday, March 10. The
Anchorwomen placed seventh (eight teams) with a team score of
172.650. Brockport won the meet with a team score of 188.325. |

Freshman
Elizabeth Ann Glunt (Altoona, PA) placed 16th in the
all-around, 27th on vault and 20th on beam
with scores of 35.450, 9.100 and 9.050, respectively.

Glunt teamed
with senior Megan Joseph (Hope, RI) to pace the Anchorwomen
with a team-best mark of 9.100 on vault. Joseph logged the squad’s
top floor mark, placing 18th with a score of 9.375. |

|
Junior Caitlyn Owens (Carmel, NY) was 31st on bars
with a score of 8.625. |
|
|
|
Head Coach Bob Nannig’s team finishes the season with a 1-14
overall record and a 1-8 mark against ECAC Div. III competition. |
