VAN GIESON AND LOPARDO LEAD RIC
AT NEICAAA NEW ENGLAND OUTDOOR TRACK AND FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS

Durham,
N.H.—The
Rhode Island College men’s outdoor track and field team competed at
the 2008 NEICAAA Championships, hosted by the University of New
Hampshire on Friday and Saturday, May 9-10. The Anchormen tied for
35th place (38 teams) with a score of 3.0. The University
of Rhode Island won the meet with a score of 122.0. |

Mike Van Gieson (Foster, RI) placed eighth in the 800 meters
with a time of 1:54.70. |
