Lincoln, RI—The
Rhode Island
College men’s cross country team placed second at the annual Ray
Dwyer Invitational, hosted by RIC at the Community College of Rhode
Island, on Monday afternoon. The Anchormen totaled a score of 37.0.
Johnson & Wales won the meet with a score of 33, while CCRI came in
third at 56. |

Sophomore Mike Macedo (North
Scituate, RI) was RIC’s top runner, placing third with a time
of 29:17.48. Freshman Kyle Mann (West Warwick, RI) placed
fifth with a time of 30:10.05. Freshman Andy Danesi (Johnston,
RI) placed seventh with a time of 31:22.53. Freshman Ethan
Leary (Newport, RI) placed eighth with a time of 31:28.41.
Senior Hunter Stewart (Johnston, RI) placed 14th
with a time of 33:44.04. Freshman Andrew Augustus (Bristol, RI)
placed 15th with a time of 33:45.36. Junior Chris
Farrell (Cumberland, RI) placed 18th with a time of
35:59.51. Freshman
Pat Brassil (Wakefield, RI) placed 21st with a
time of 37:17.70, while classmate Chris Usler (Warwick, RI)
placed 22nd with a time of 37:21.89. |
